Laurent Lamarche — D.E.Mo

Born in 1977 in Montréal, where he lives and works, Laurent Lamarche holds an MFA from Université du Québec à Montréal (2012). His multidisciplinary practice questions the relationships between nature and artifice through the creation of fictional living organisms. He has taken part in many solo and group exhibitions, both in Québec ar
abroad (US, Mexico, Australia, Spain, Denmark, China, Italy) and has created several public art works in Québec. His photographs, engravings, sculptures and installations are fond in many private and public collections, including those of the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec, Cirque du Soleil, Loto-Québec, Tourisme Montréal and the University of California at Berkeley. Laurent Lamarche is represented by Art Mûr (Montréal).
